how do we plan our meals with this thing? The meal planner makes NO sense….. how do you figure out what to eat? You have to drag the food icons onto something?? What is all this saved meal stuff they are talking about? I dont have time to go shopping and cooking stuff

It would be cool to have a “competition” where everyone can “win” like they do on the nike+ site where it is something like:
-Everyone looses 5 pounds
or
-Everyone runs 50 miles this month

I thought handling them like a marathon where everyone gets to complete the challenge would be a good enhancement of the challenges.

I was 200lb , now I’m at 195 and counting. This is a cool way to keep on working out, everyone working out for the same goal, loosing body fat%.

I totally agree, I would really like to participate in something like that. Then again, you could say “We’re all winners as long as we become more healthy” but forget that, I want a little medal next to my profile pic, haha. It’s funny how a 4kb image file can be so motivating. Good luck everyone, and keep up the good work!

Only three days left, I don’t think I can catch jennr and NYCNick, but at least I am seeing progress again. Keep at it folks, NYCNick might be tempted by a one too many slices of NYC pizza and jennr could run into an office beer bash. :P

Really great job everyone. Looks like this is it for me as I’ll be away from the scale tomorrow…maybe i should take it with me :-)

Just a comment on the challenge system. Should the challenge work from when you enter the challenge or from what weight you were when the challenge started? I’m pretty sure it’s working off the weight I entered a few days into the challenge.

In reality thou I enjoyed it as motivation for staying on track and that’s really what the challenge was all about.

laxcola, that is a good question. I have seen the challenges work both ways. You are right it has been motivating even when progress was seemingly unattainable, it kept my food choices on track.

Thanks gyminee! I placed in the top 10 AND most importantly this challenge helped me get back on track after slipping off pretty hard. I managed to reach a weight loss goal I’ve been working towards since December of last year! I’m finally under 300lbs and now I’ve set new goal. I couldn’t of done it without this site..

Thanks Gyminee, for helping me lose 15 lbs so far. It was fun being number 1 in the challenge, but I can’t compete against a fitness rock star who loses 1-2 lbs a day. Well done NYCNick.

Challenge #1

Miss Jennr…. you’re a formidable competitor. I must admit you drove me to extreme measures… living at the gym.. sweating in plastic bags… and watching EVERYTHING that i put into my body… including exlax, but I’m grateful I’ve got of to a good start.. Funny thing is I’ve eaten well… and quite a lot too, and I’ve lost 20.5 lbs which is amazing. I have 30 to go. I’ve got addicted to brussel sprouts, spinach, grilled chicken, blueberries, nonfat yoghurt and all-bran.. Things could be worse. I ran 7 miles this afternoon. I couldn’t do that 3 weeks ago…. 5 mins was an effort.

Anyway… Its not over till its over… if i still do win this thing… i still want you to have the shirt Miss….
