I noticed there are several bugs useing Gyminee while using firefox 3.0. One major one is not being able to go PRO! The credit card screen has an error. You also cannot check coupon codes on that screen.

I have seen a number of other errors as well. I can keep track of what i come across here if that will help.

What is the error you are seeing on the credit card screen? We are not aware of any issues with using FireFox 3 as we test and develop using it regularly. Would you mind checking again and letting us know whether or not things look correct? It may be something specific with your browser setup.

Unfortunately i already went pro so I don’t think i can recreate the error. It happened when i would submit my credit information. The next screen was the error (sorry cant remember what it said). Then i refreshed and resubmitted my information and it worked fine. Almost like just one node on a load balancer was having problems.

As for the Coupon checker nothing would happen when i clicked check coupon. No errors or anything, just nothing would happen. I checked in IE and it checked them fine.

Great site keep up the good work :)

I had the same processing problem and had to use IE 7 to process the order. I recall that I got a generic firefox error message as if the server was down or a security issue occurred.

I’m having a different problem with FF 3.0.1.

When I try to “weigh-in”, a history graph animation pops up and blocks the entry form. I’ve been unable to move or close the graph.

This occurred on a PC running Windows 2000 and one running Ubuntu 8.04.

Is it the BodyTracker graph that is blocking the entry form? Were you using FF 3 on both operating systems?

I get this same problem (the graph blocking the entry form) with FF3 on both Ubuntu and OSX Leopard.

Strange, it works fine for me on Leopard using FF3. I haven’t been able to test on Ubuntu yet, but I have noticed intermittent problems like this on XP in the past (but nothing that completely blocked the entry).

Do you guys have any specific add-ons installed on FF that messes with rendering of the elements?

Maybe Adblocker?

I am on Ubuntu now, and disabled Adblocker but still have the problem. I took a screenshot and will try to post a link to it…

[Never mind—the image isn’t working… I’ll try something else when I get home.]

(The link doesn’t seem to work but if you copy the address and then paste it into the location bar, it should go there. If not let me know and I’ll try something else.)

Thanks for the screenshots mh1. So, I’m starting to lose track of where this problem is occurring. I haven’t been able to reproduce it on OSX or XP. Is this problem mainly occurring with FF3 on Ubuntu?

For me, at this point it occurs with FF3 in Ubuntu and nowhere else.

If this problem is just in Ubuntu then it would be fairly low on our priority list. I haven’t been able to reproduce it on OSX or Windows, and unless I can do so I’m not sure there’s much I can do.

I would guess it’s some strangeness with how the Flash player works on Linux (are you using the latest player?).

I’d like to confirm that I have this problem as well and since tracking weight is one of the main focuses of the site, it becomes essentially unusable for me. I am using Ubuntu linux.

From talking to a few other users via email, it seems like this problem is in fact isolated to the Flash player on Ubuntu (and other similar Linux distros.). At this point, I haven’t found a fix to this problem, but if anyone discovers something then let us know.

This also happens on OpenSuse. It is probably an issue in the Linux flash player. A bug should be submitted to Adobe.

to be able to use the page, just scroll down, so the graph is at the very top of the screen before you select something to enter. then the graph is not on top of what you want to update.

Upgrading to Adobe Flash 10 which was recently released fixed this bug.
