I would like to see some printing options. If you try and print anything in IE7 or Firefox 3 (I don’t have older versions to try) it doesn’t retain any of the formatting and basically prints what should be 1 page onto 6.

For instance, I’m meeting with a personal trainer. And he wants me to bring in a list of everything I ate. I would like to just print off my nutrition log or fitness report, for the month or whatever, but I can’t do that. Just asking for a week makes a 23 page printout.

So either a print button that makes for a print-friendly formatted page would be swell or a button that creates a pdf of the fitness report would be even better.

Thanks!

Just found this:

“Web2PDF Online is a free service for your websites that allows your visitors to quickly save useful information in your blogs and websites to PDF files.”

I’m assuming that you are referring to your Fitness Report?

We have discussed adding some type of PDF support to make print-outs formatted more printer-friendly. I think this is definitely the direction we are heading, but I can’t tell you exactly when we will be able to implement it.

Yup, I am referring to the Fitness report.

I’m glad to hear you are at least thinking about it.

Thanks!

I second the request—and would like the option to export it into excel or some other program where I can print them. Thanks!

Thanks for speaking up on this one. It’s still something on our radar.

I wish I had searched for this post before going PRO, which I did today. The sole reason is for my trainer to see my food, i was sure I’d be able to print this, or at least email it. This is extremely frustrating.

I Biked 100 Miles! I Lost 5 Lbs!

Then again, when I got tired of <ctrl-print> and pasting into MSWord, it became obvious that I should have my nutritionist get online and look at my foodlogs & reports on HER time - not mine!!

I’m saving a few trees, too!

If my trainer/nutritionist is unwilling to go online (or become your Gymbuddy!), then it might be time to invite the services of a new one!

@es – I apologize for the frustration. As Dr Jon pointed out, if your trainer is willing to get online, then you should be able to share your nutrition progress with him that way. Outputting reports in a way that are easier to print is still something we plan to do.

I’ll second (or third?) this. I’d love to be able to print out my workouts.

Thanks for the great site.

As a workaround visit gyminee.com/iphone and use the mobile interface to print your nutrition log a day at a time. The resulting page has less stuff on it and still contains the essentials you’ll want to share with a nutritionist/trainer. I couldn’t find a good view of the workout log in the mobile interface, though.
