Would it be possible to “slot” standard exercises into the same naming convention? For instance, searching for the exercise “pushup” yields:

Pushups – Hands Close Together
Push-Ups – Dumbbell
Push-Ups – Feet on Exercise Ball

However, searching for “push-up” yields 27 exercises, including the basic ones a lot of people are probably searching for :)

One thing that isn’t immediately obvious is that an exercise’s tags are also searchable. I just added “pushups” as a tag for a few of the exercises you were mentioning. If you do the “pushup” search again, you’ll notice that it pulls in those other exercises. It’s a bit of a hack, but it works until we implement a better solution.
