Would it be possible to make it where you can do a workout on the fly for the day without saving it?

A few times a year I’ll go to the gym and take a break from my program and just do what I feel like. These workouts are very rarely repeated and will end up crowding my saved workouts if I have to create and save each time.

Also, if there is interest, could the rowing machine (C2/Erg) be added to the cardio challenges? I prefer them for cardio and it’d be nice to get some community motivation :)

EDIT: One more thing, any interest with other members to be able to set one’s own nutritional goals? i.e. I’d like to shoot for 3000 calories with a 40p/30c/30f breakdown.

If you search for exercises (from your Workout Log), then you can track them on-the-fly quite easily.

Good idea. I’ll create a ticket for this request.

This is currently possible. Check out this topic.

OK, I found something concerning on the fly workouts.

If the movement you did isn’t a standard movement, you can’t add it on the fly.

What I’ve had to do is make a workout full of the movements I do that aren’t in the standard database and go there to submit progress. The problem is out of the half-dozen or so things I have in there, I will only do one of them do I have to go through and click “Didn’t do” on the rest of them and then add the rest of the workout manually.

Since this involves movements not in the database, I’m not sure there is anything that can be done about it but I figured I’d post it anyway.

You are correct, and it’s a great point. I take a similar approach as you have outlined for my own training, and I agree that it is not ideal. This is something that we see the need to improve and plan to do so as soon as possible.
