Maybe it is the blonde moment I have at least once a day, but I can not seem to figure it out.

At home I am doing Barry’s Bootcamp. It is a DVD exercise program with resistance bands. I can not figure out how to add this type of workout to the custom program. Does anyone know??

Thank you for any help!

Hi Sporty,

You will need to add resistance band exercises to your workout as “custom exercises.” When you are adding exercises to your workout, you should see a link called “Add Custom Exercise.”

lets see if I can shed some light maybe?

1. go to workouts
2. on the right side there should be an option named “create new workout”
3. since you are doing both aerobic AND resistance bands you need to log both so first add you aerobics tape. so you would
a. Name then describe (ie. aerobics, description name of tape).
b. Then select cardio, then indoors, then the appropriate aerobics workout (probably step aerobics). After selecting the appropriate combination select add exercise.
4. Ok, now on the bottom you should see the workout you already added. Now you want to add one more, your resistance bands. Under step #2 on the right side it should say add custom exercise. select that option and some new options should appear, Label appropriately the exercise name, and give a description. Since they are resistance bands you would select strength, and then you would have to specify how many reps of how much resistance (different bands have different resistances right?), then lastly select add exercise. Then select add exercise.
5. At the bottom you should now see your Aerobics and your newly added resistance band (or whatever you labeled it), don’t forget to select save workout!
6. Smile, take a bow You did it! :)

hope that was helpful :o
cheers!

Thanks @g00dguy78.

@sporty, I think that step 4 should answer the main part of your question. Let us know if you need any further help.
