The iphone interface does not seem to work with a Treo browser. I realize that is becuase it wasn’t designed for one. :)

That having been said a dumbed down mobile interface would probably open up your target user base.

For body tracker, you can enter the value for the default – weight – but it is not possible to switch to any other measurement.

It would not have to be slick looking, just functional.

I suspect there are many mobile users that use devices besides an iPhone to browse.

Happy to beta-test…

I use a Motorola Q9m and would love to have this on my phone—would make it very easy to input my food when I’m out eating.

I don’t even think it would be important to do anything but have a simple interface that lets you perform basic search and add functions. Would be great when working out at the gym, too, to see your plan on your phone and fill in your workout as you do it.

Agreed, I have a Blackberry and would love it if even logging in was easier.

bberry support would definitely keep me on as a full time user and might even get me to move to pro.

Yep, would also have no problem going “pro” if it worked on my Instinct.

Just wanted to add that I can do a few things on my treo but anything that seems to do a popup does not work.

Still very handy in it’s limited form if I forgot to printout a workout or something.

One thing that would be useful for us is if everyone would state what the make and model is of their phone.

It’s quite a task to support all mobile devices, but knowing the most popular ones will give us a starting point.

Shouldn’t be too difficult to make some generically mobile friendly pages for viewing/editing food & exercise. I would love to have something like that.

It would also be really great to see a Gyminee app for Android enabled phones.

Samsung Blackjack II, provided by my firm. We don’t support the iPhone (for cost reasons), and it’s not worth it to me to carry 2 devices (especially since i already have an iPod).

So, a Windows Smartphone 6 compatible Gyminee version would be awesome!

I agree with the user base enhancement – I joined because of the iphone support :)

I heard that if there are some new platforms that will support all phones, does that sort of thing exist?

T-Mo Dash, but don’t forget the new G1 from T-Mo. They’ll have an app marketplace like Apple.

My Dad has an older Treo, and didn’t have much of a problem viewing Gyminee. Well, there were only 2 I saw.
1. The header is too big/ doesn’t show up correctly across the top (it’s vertical & takes up a lot of space)
2. Videos are shown in an external program. If you don’t have a player, then they won’t show. (there are a few free ones out there) In the end this is an user-side issue.

I agree, though I could be biased. HTC Mogul, Windows Mobile 6.0.

WinMo 6.1 fan here … nominated as an MS MVP for device application development in 2007 … new gyminee member, I’d love to contribute to a Windows Mobile app for gyminee, it would really help me get and stay involved.
