Gyminee iPhone 20 AppStarted by coliv77 |
Anyone knows if Gyminee has an iPhone App planned?
Now that I've seen the iPhone apps, web based seems kind of slow and outdated.

I also would like to see a Gyminee app on my iPhone. This would be a reason becoming a Gyminee Pro - user :-) Posted by SnakeXXL on Jul. 13, 2008 at 06:44AM |

I am surprised that no one at Gyminee was working on an iPhone app for the last 3 - 4 months. It would be pretty easy and the publicity Gyminee could have gotten (still can) would have been pretty good.

We need a Gyminee AppI have started using the iPhone at the gym to track the weights I lift with my workout program, but since there is no WIFI at the gym it takes a bit of time to upload my data, it would be nice if there were a program we could use that would upload to Gyminee once you got back to a WIFI zone. An app would be amazing, but speaking as someone who dabbled with the Apple SDK with a web app and a native app, its not as easy as its made out to be. Its alot of work Posted by MDCK99 on Jul. 15, 2008 at 02:50PM |

Cocoa AbilitiesNative apps feel (and are) a lot faster, because it's less actual data to transfer over the network (be in GPRS or WiFi, or UMTS for you lucky ones who have the network deployed). It would probably be loooot of work, but it could be a great incentive for a pro account. Maybe $20 for the app, or free for pro users. That way, it's actually $5 cheaper to just sign up for the pro account for 3 months, and you run a chance of hooking those "thrifty" users :) Posted by bsrome on Jul. 16, 2008 at 01:47PM |

I would love to have a native iPhone Gyminee app. I started using Gyminee again starting yesterday, and having quick access to these features would be a big plus. Posted by bmurphy714 on Jul. 19, 2008 at 12:20AM |
gyminee on iPhoneGyminee has a site designed for iPhone. www.Gyminee.com/iphone. I just added it to home screen. It even has a nice icon. It seems to work alot faster than the regular site on the iphone. Posted by brahn on Jul. 21, 2008 at 02:49AM |

Iphone SiteThe Iphone site is nice but one of the gym's I go to does not have wifi and the AT&T networkl sucks. So a native App would be nice. Posted by BioTech on Jul. 24, 2008 at 04:28PM |
