Stopped...

Always on the quest to better my workout....

I started a Body-for-LIFE challenge this week with some friends, and it has a different cardio routine. Pretty intense, but only 3 times a week for 20 minutes. I did Body-for-LIFE about 6 years ago and really made a big difference in my overall physique.

I'll probably jump back to 5K training at the end, but I will be far from the couch stage.

Done with week 1

My knees handled the latest run much better than the first... Must be getting used to the pound or something.

I am starting Week 2 this evening. I am certainly surprised by how difficult running is compared to the Elliptical. But I am also suprised by how quickly the body adapts. My third run was already much easier than my first run in week 1.

I have read a lot of success stories with this program, and I hope to be one more of those success stories.

Starting again.

I like the Couch-to-5k program. At least the first week...

I have never finished program, but I want to start again. I often neglect running for weight training, even though I know they are both important.

Yesterday, when I started, my knees were killing me after the first 10 minutes. I finished it off on the elliptical machine. I hope my knees get used to it so I can do the whole thing running.
