Stress

Every time I'm in a stress situation I stop working out and eat more. For example, when I was mugged I put on a lot of weight. A couple years ago I went through a long period of unemployment and I gained a lot of weight then, too. I can feel myself subconsciously falling into this period lately. I'm getting laid off in April. I've been spending more than I should lately. Plus there's the usual bullshit stress from meeting writing deadlines, family problems, romance "issues," etc. I've eaten a lot of crap over the past few days and I skipped the gym today. I'm going to do a bit of growing up. I'm going to deal with what life's dealt me and stop being so weak, which means no more food binges. Working out is a natural stress reliever anyways. Endorphins help me relax.

Weekly Workout Routine

'm sure I'll tweak this down the line but this is my weekly workout plan. I have weird days scheduled off based on my Second City stuff. Sunday: Lifting (Stomach, Abs) Monday: Run Tuesday: OFF Wednesday: Run Thursday: OFF Friday: Lifting (Arms & Chest) Saturday: Run, Lifting (Glutes, Legs)
