Hey Mischief - where are you? Vacation? Ill? I hope you haven't lost your motivation... That ain't good, buddy! I just had nearly a month gap due to vacation and then illness but I felt guilty as h*ll for not working out. When I first started I never felt like that, but when you finally get sucked in , just like any addiction really... So here's your motivation... GET DOWN TO THE GYM! WALK YOUR DOG! CARRY ON YOUR EXCELLENT PROGRESS! DON'T GIVE UP NOW!

workouts & diet

Hey Its really good to get that really sore feeling after doing a workout... I always had a really hard time with eating clean its an everyday battle against portions... its ok to have some junk everyone in awhile but do so in moderation and only have one serving... when you eat try to limit your amount you eat at once and then in 45 mins to an hour if your still hungry eat some more... this helped me slowly control my portions and my hunger cause I used to eat like 3 pigs and it showed

Tough week.

Both wife and son been sick. Had to call-in to work Monday and Friday to take care of spouse. Tried new workout on Monday-- just legs; and I did not over do it-- but I got super-sore! Just did cardio on Tuesday and have not worked out since then. Oh, and yeh, I've been eating like a pig too.

Huh? Weigh-in?

Hmm. Body Fat very slightly down, but weight up by 4 lbs? My clothes fit better, I have some more muscle and some less visible fat. So I can understand it, but I am still kinda bummed not to have gone down in weight.

I have to remember it is a lifestyle change too. I took yesterday off to rest my body. But I am not sure if I'll be able to work out until Saturday because of my wife's work schedule.

Don't feel intimidated - we all gotta start somewhere. And you've started... I felt intimidated when I started - even in my work's gym where I know the people! Just keeping chipping away - and you'll surprise yourself. Then you'll get more motivated, do a bit more...

Okay.

I started today. I worked out, it felt good and slightly bad at the same time. When I work with free weights I always feel intimidated. Not with the guys my age though, mostly with guys in their early 20s. They look at me as if I am just a fat load. Which I can understand, because hey, when I post my pics which I took today you'll see. Anyways, it is weird because I get the feeling they think they are more of a man than I am because they are more buff. Silly, I know; but it does get to me.
