...are working out and staying fit that is all that matters. Body Flow is the best. I've been doing yoga almost every Sunday morning for over a year. I love it. Nutrition is one of my next hurdles too.

I have not had anytime to work on my nutrition :(!! I have been so busy all month and will probably continue to busy for the next month. I just finished my Body Flow course so I can teach at classes at my gym. I have 3 months to perfect my teaching skill and submit my video for evaluation. Lots of work ahead!! I am team teaching with a couple of instructors this Sunday and Wedesday and I can't wait to see how it feels to get up in front of the class! I am pretty happy as this is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I promise myself that November will be my month to start focusing on nutrition and tracking my food (famous last words...LOL)..

Still slacking

Well I have not prepared any of my meals over the last couple of weeks so I will have to sit down this week and figure out what I am doing. I am only going to the gym half as often as I was and I will have to step it up. The problem is that I am really busy over the next couple of weeks. After the 28th I will have some time to get back at it, I think I will have to accept that I will have to take it easy until then.

Busy

I can't seem to find the time to get onto the computer anymore so I have not been recording any nutrition or workouts! Maybe once summer is over I can spend 20 minutes a day getting the data in. I have started another 12 week cycle as of Sunday, but after taking that week off I really am feeling it after 2 workouts!

Yah, I hear you! Good think I wear headphones! ^_^ There are two gyms I switch between. Most of the problems I have are at the one that's bigger and has a pool/steam room/sauna. So EVERYONE wants to lay around and do nothing... like its a Club Med or something... oh don't get me started! ^-^

Glad to hear your feeling it! LOL - Yah, told you! I'm going to just concentrate on form this whole month. I see ppl at the gym all of the time pushing all of this weight w/ the wrong form and I'm thinking... dude, this guy/girl is gonna through out a disc or throw their arm out. Form is critical when working out. I cannot stress that enough. Keep it up TG! ^_^

I'll tell you what, after I started doing that I actually felt SORE (good sore though). I'm not talking super sore or I've fallen and I can't get up sore. It's the kind of sore that tells you you've been working out a particular muscle that hasn't been worked for awhile.. haven't had that feeling in a loooooooooooong time.

Workouts are going well. I cut back on pushing more weight to concentrate more on my form. I'm doing the Rock Hard Challenge and am in month three. After I finish that up I'm going to try HIIT and see if I can get some more definition from it.

WOW - Good job TG! I'm in the same boat as you RE: not seeing any results. I've started to take Creatine which * should * help me with my muscle building. My workouts are going to be the same. I already feel stronger after trying it! Just thought I'd pass it on. Keep up the amazing job! :)

2 weeks left

I only have 2 weeks left in my 12 week cycle. I have learned so much since I started and still have a lot to learn! I am not really noticing a lot of difference in my body since 4 weeks ago so I am going to drop some cardio and start eating more food to see if that helps me build some muscle.

Long weekend

I am so happy the long weekend is finally here! Last week was so long and horrible and I was hardly even home! I will have to throw out all of my healthy veggies I never had time to cook. :( I am off to do my legs and abs today followed by Bodyflow (the class that is keeping me sane right now). I ate really bad on Friday because I had no time to cook and yesterday it was indian buffet (OMG) and popcorn at the movies.....Batman was amazing! LOL So enough skipping the gym and eating poorly. I have a BBQ tonight and a vow to have nothing but veggie chicken and grilled vegetables and maybe a beer.

Gained weight so I'll assume it's muscle! LOL

I am up 2 pounds from last week....whatever. I still look the same so that is good. My chest is getting smaller so I know that I am definitely losing body fat, got lots to spare there. People keep pointing out that my face is getting thinner and asking me if I am eating, always have to have the negativity!! Funny thing is that I am always eating, they see me eat 3 times at work (not including my lunch at home). I did not expect to get completely positive support from everyone, heaven forbid if someone does something good for themself! I am increasing all of my weights this week to see if I can add some muscle and I have increased my calories by about 300-400 a day so hopefully that should give good results. Today I did RPM and a quick little bis, tris, shoulder and ab workout for 30 minutes before. My legs are still killing from my leg workout yesterday. I do one hour of Bodyflow after and the program for the next few weeks hits the legs pretty hard as well. Tomorrow I get to run on the treadmill, I am pretty excited, couldn't do any running last week because my shoulder was sore.

Back at it

I went to spin class this morning and had only a mild discomfort in my shoulder, I am so happy that is over with. I will have to make sure I listen to my body next time. Tomorrow is my day off so I should be completely recovered by Sunday, just in time for BodyFlow! Think I will celebrate with a beer tonight! ;)

Well I am happy to say that my shoulder is doing better today. I did my bis, tris and shoulders and did not feel any pain. I wonder if the glutamine helped with that. I am just happy to be back at the gym, I might even try chest, and back tomorrow and hit the spin class.

Ice, ice, baby...

If you pulled the muscle make sure you ice it for about 15 minutes on and then 15 minutes off for about an hour twice a day. It happened to me on shrugs too ironically. I was doing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much weight (4 sets of 120lbs dumbbells in each hand) and on the 3rd set I felt it happen. Then REALLY felt it after. The price to pay when trying to look too cocky at the gym.. lol

Ouch

Hurt my shoulder on Tuesday morning doing shrugs (yes I am a dummy)! So Wednesday I did my leg routine, I should be doing bis, tris and abs tonight, but I don't think my shoulder can take it.......boo! :( It hurts so much that I also missed my run and a spin class. I am going to spin class tomorrow even if it kills me!

Ha!!!! Nice girl......That means your body fat percentage probably just dropped a couple points if you can see the muscle with any degree of definition. Congrats! You do have a fairly low body fat percentage judging by your stomach pics.....Those abs look nice! Just don't get them all ripped like a guy......;)

Wow what a long week!! I am so happy that the long weekend is finally here! Happy Canada Day! :) I am doing pretty good with my workouts and I have really cut back my calories, I am eating fairly clean. I need to work on my nutrition a bit more so that my ratios of P/C/F are where I want them. I think I need to add some more calories somehow but I have been so busy at the gym doing weights and cardio that eating has been put on the back burner. I will try to sit down and plan something out this weekend. Either way I have lost 4 pounds in 4 weeks and I can feel the muscle starting to take shape, still not making much of a visual appearance though. I am pretty obsessed with going to the gym right now, as soon as I am finished I start thinking about when I can go back and what I will do when I get there. Still making sure that I get some sleep and take my Saturday off.

Just joined this website today. Looks pretty good so far and it gives me exactly what I want, and easy way to track my calories, and macronutrient intake. I am feeling super motivated today! I went to RPM this morning and killed it and then I went after work to do an awesome weight workout. I did lots of abs in between all of my other sets and some shoulder, back, chest, biceps and triceps. I lifted fairly heavy and overall I think it was a great routine. I tried to record the workout, but I think that I will need to figure out how to use that part of this site correctly. I start Body for Life tomorrow!
