lean cuisine and other observations

My palate doesn't like commercial candy...I don't like the smell of popcorn in my house. My legs are much trimmer, my jeans look good, narrow but not too tight. I'm working out at least two days a week. Writing down my food keeps me on track (and I enjoy it). But I have extra flesh around my waist (which I'm sort of surprised by really always having a waist even when heavy and I still have a waist but it is odd) and I have fuller or less tight flesh above my knees to my hips. Could be tighter too. But my ass although a handful still, is firmer, narrower more round rather than dispersed. Am buying multiple fish lean cuisine dinners and using as meals. Am tightening but wonder if it is this or if it working out and recording again. Probably a mixture.

exercise in the morning

I got off the ritual of eating well and in a balanced, several small meals a day way. And I had stopped exercising. Getting up and exercising first thing - preferably in the morning before 8 gives me confidence. Once the TV and internet are going...there goes time.

loose clothes but not as much as I would like

worried about sliding back or plateauing...with no time to work out for long duration to really burn the fat.

gap regular boot cut jeans roomier

not stretchy or tight, a bit loose. Surprised by this, but it reveals more of the overall thigh and outer hip loss even if fullest part of the hip is just down by an inch and a half or so. Am in the beginning of PMS cycle.

tired, eating more fat than I thought I was

End of bard, morning swimming is good, feels good, calms and energizes, but I am still weary after a long day. The food I eat, even when I think I am being healthy, adds up to more calories than I thought. Will need to be aware when wanting to keep my weight to my 124 range. At ten pounds heavier, I feel okay. Legs a little jiggly at the pool after several days without gym. But I feel more powerful and stronger as I walk around and across campus. More muscles for sure. Face looking a little leaner.

got scale to work. Think % body fat down 4% but st

Need to lose 7 more pounds of fat to be at goal weight. That is about 5 week or 7 weeks ahead. Can be more disciplined in that effort.

trimmer but pounds lost not as great

watch out for empty calories - enjoy the ones you want (mojito). measurements are better, and my whole body feels nice, shapely, comfortable and much more solid than the same weight a few weeks ago. More fat conversion. Try to stop eating earlier in the evening.

bloated but more musclely

nice to feel toned and un-embarassed. Still need to shed, become more lean, reveal my form underneath but even with snacks and treats am doing ok. If I cut out sweets how much better i might do. Terrible cramps.

Good to not miss working out for a day

Up at Bard, food is richer and harder to manage. Trying to avoid sweets and drink if I can...but I think if I keep walking and working out it will be okay, I will reduce (albeit very slowly). Felt slimmish in the gym today although had a little fat on me too.

feeling heavy again, waist less refined

what is it? I haven't eaten that much, have been watching my calories. Yes, clothes fit somewhat differently, and there is more muscle definition when I walk, but still so much flab. Must affirm what a great job I have done. Imagine the fat I have visualized. Have to remember I am melting fat, even though it feels like I'm not accomplishing much (esp. when scale goes up again).

reluctance and anxiety

harder to eat well... less fresh food in the house is part of it. Didn't want to walk today, but did, a little listless, a little depressed. . .tooth chipped off

pushing fat off the least budged

Measured yesterday, and was glad to see an inch off of the waist, only .5 inches off of my hips was discouraging, and they are looking less toned. So must go back to rump weight training exercises so that i don't lose what muscle I do have there. And bicycle too I guess. Have been walking around park everyday and it is long slow distance but not super aerobic, although I'm tired, sometimes at the end of energy when I am done. Fewer fudgsicles (none) have lessened migraines.

no pain no loss?

I feel very easy with this eating cycle and working out cycle. It is as if my body isn't straining at all so I worry that maybe I am not losing weight any more. But I must remember that I am trying to burn fat, become lean and that takes time and small changes. I can't really be plateauing at such small eating amounts and exercise. But it does seem very easy.

popsicle diet

seems like having mouth fixation, flavor fixation and occaisonally a little sugar in the fudgsicle really helps me stay on track. Also eating a little more regularly helps me not get too hungry. And the heat just overwhelms hunger too. Writing down what I eat has also made me more creative as an eater/cook. The old mandoline and grill pan also help a great deal inspiring tasty satisfying food - much better mouth feel than saute.

up weight but feel better

I'm exercising more, eating better, being more thoughtful and creative making meals when I'm logging them. Seems like better nutrition. And I'm trying to work in exercise. Discouraged by the scale today, although glad I'm getting enough water and my fat ratio is down from 30% to 26.5%. But I can still grab chugs of flesh from lower body and legs meet at the knees. Feel like my body has been taken over by a fat person.
