makenai posted a new message to the iPhone Users group:Instead of a fanny pack.. - After searching around online a bit, I came across something called an SPIBelt (small personal items belt) that is marketed toward marathon runners and the like. It's like a fanny back basically, but much smaller - just large enough to hold an iphone and maybe some keys etc. I've ordered one and will give it a try.

makenai posted a new message to the iPhone Users group:iPhones in the gym? - The gym can be a rough place for an expensive piece of consumer electronics like the iphone. With a site like Gyminee, it's damned handy though. What's the best way to keep your iphone close while keeping it from getting smashed, drowned or stolen? So far, I have a loose game plan for protecting my investment that includes a fanny pack, a Speck ToughSkin silicone case, and a "Best Skins Ever" total body lining underneath to keep the moisture out. I can't speak for this combination as I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. How are others dealing with this problem? I've seen the iphone armbands, but they don't seem practical, especially if you're going to be submitting exercise progress between sets.
