Change is good

I've decided that after a year of doing the same kind of workouts that it's time to change things up. Previously, I was doing a 5 day split of chest, back, shoulders, arms, and legs. Additionally, against the common knowledge of hypertrophy training I was taking way more that 30-60s rest between sets. Now I've decided to split my workouts into 3 days. Legs, Chest & Back, Arms & Shoulders. I've edited some of the exercises and also have bought a stopwatch to make sure that I am only taking 45s between each set. I've had to drop the amount of weight I'm lifting but the intensity is definitely increased. I'm eager to see what kind of result I'll get from these changes.

See you added back the cheese...are you making your goals now?

If you don't want to add cheese back in...flax oil, peanut butter, olive oil, almonds, and sunflower/pumpkin seeds are all healthy sources of fat that also provide added benefits like Omega 3s and LDL cholesterol fighting properties

Diet

Been looking at my diet goals and I'm consistently way under on my fat intake each day. I guess I should consider adding cheese back into my diet.

Back at it

Was sick the past couple of days with a sinus cold of some kind. Wasn't at the gym and wasn't eating like normal but now I'm back to the routine.
