Holidays Bad for Fitness Goals

My parents are in town and I have been relatively good, but I have consumed too much alcohol, too much pie and cake and haven't come close to calorie goals, exercise and my macro nutrient ratios are all out of whack. It was fun though! So today I start back, only to get in a van on Wednesday morning and drive to Florida. Thank goodness I will have a gym while I am down there!

Great Day

Today I have weighed in at 180.6 After shedding nearly 30 pounds this year, I am a slight 5 lbs away from my eat big lift big phase during which I intend on adding about 10lbs of lean body mass. We shall see, but I wish everyone luck because I am proof that it can be done!

Pushing hard

So regardless of what that Accumeasure reads, I am within my last 4-7 percentage points of body fat to get rid of before I start a new goal set. I upped my runs to 45 minutes 3x week and 30 minutes 2x week, plus my 3x week stronglifts and the 2240 calorie diet. After thanksgiving I will zig zag again and do the 2240x3 2940x3 and see how my strength maintains. I've found that my strength decreases rapidly when I either take a break from lifting, which makes sense, but more importantly when I don't eat enough. I know I am burning a bit of muscle, but I think my loss is low when compared to my ultimate goals of body fat loss. Here's to finishing week 13!

happy anniversary

I went to the dolphins game yesterday, was fairly good.had turkey breast with no bread and only 3 bud lights. I got alot of work to do , I,ve been hitting my carbs early in the day. yesterday I did not eat enough and fell short on my calorie goal by 4oo. Glad you had a nice anniversary!
