That's how long it's taken me to get back to where I was. No worries, if I can keep my eating in check for another day or two I will at least start December with a new low.

Ideal Weight?

Learned today that I have 123lbs. of muscle and 7lbs of bone (I'm rounding up just slightly). Given that... perhaps my perception that someone my height ought to weigh somewhere in the mid- 130's is a little... how shall I put this... on the CRAZY SIDE! Mmmm.... I guess a little reality check is in order. I went off hunting for what is ideal percentage of body fat and if I want to come in on the low end of healthy it would put my weight somewhere in the mid-150's. Mid-160's would put me in the midst of "Average" for my height and gender. Of course, I'm miles away from either at this moment so this point is somewhat moot... but what really has me confused is why I was regarded as being "SO FAT" in Grade 8 when I weighed 145 lbs and was exactly the same height as I am now? Seriously... if I could go back in time I would kick some serious ass - what the hell were they thinking calling me fat then?!!

Need to Batton Down the Hatches This Week

Well - the stint below goal weight sure was short lived - right back up above the threshold this morning. Understandably so, had take out Thai last night and just a week bit too much cheese in the last three days. I'm hoping this is just water retention again and a few green salads will take care of it. May be going out of town next week to see some old friends (funeral - not a happy event). In any case, desperately hoping I can drop 40 lbs. by next Sunday - really that would be awesome. Failing that... perhaps just enough to comfortably fit into the next size down pant - am close (they zip up) but I do resemble a stuffed sausage casing. ;-( I know I shouldn't be thinking of my waist size at a time like this but well... I am...

Next Goal Weight - January 1, 2003

Found my old gym membership weight chart. 01/01/03 is my new goal weight. Technically I think this can be considered my 2002 weight since January 1st, 2003 is only one day past 2002. In any case, that is the new target. Hoping to reach it before the staff Christmas Party in December!
