10 Days In

Well I started my mass building routine and things are going well so far. Im weighing in right around 200 and will continue to bulk for till the end of the year. I never dreamed I would be able to add 30lbs in 2008 so I am already satisfied with the results. Ive only been going to the gym for a couple years and never did much lower body till this year. Even when I started working the lower body I was not making the gains I wanted. I broke a rib which prevented me from doing squats for several months. Speaking of squats, I also discovered I have never quite been doing them right until recently. My grip, stance, and dip position were all wrong. I was squatting way too much weight to go down all the way and was doing partial squats. I corrected the stance and grip and now I'm working my weight back up on the deep squat. It is my new favorite exercise by far. I also started doing clean and press lifts with the barbell. It really is a great mass building exercise for the upper body. I don't know how I could go so long without ever giving it a try. Finally, I purchased a digital bmi monitor and I'm going to track the results once a week. I have not been too concerned with my body fat % as I was adding mass. After the new year I want to being cutting for Spring Break time so I wanted to get a baseline going to see where I'm at. more to follow...

42 Days...

Its been awhile since I have regularly used Gyminee. I finally got a new phone with full internet so now I'm motivated to update my stats. I started off this year under 170lbs and I have come very close to my goal of 200lbs. I'm about to start a new 42 day program to push myself over the top. I plan to log all my exercises and maybe try and do my diet. Be back in a couple of days...

Just setting up my account. I like everything so far. Off to do my first workout since I broke my ribs. Just going to do some running on the treadmill. Might hit the weights a little if I feel good.
